Blue door in Provence France
Artist
R W Goetting
Medium
Painting - Oil On Canvas
Description
The light is special in southern France. My travel to this area has been limited but it has left a lasting impression. In this one, I worked to capture not so much the architectural aspects as much as the feel of the air and light.

I love so much this painting of this charming village, Bob! Gorgeous work!! Last month I visited some villages in Provence and your light here is so finely depicted. I know exactly what you mean by "the feel of the air and light"...it is indeed something unique over there. :) LF!
