you captured the atmosphere of the storm well.

So wonderful to sink into the calm of one of your paintings after a short break R/W Bob. I think that the light effects during a storm are the most fleeting, dramatic and beautiful that I ever see and you have captured one of those moments here perfectly in Morro Rock. Such a lovely quiet feeling to the work also. I love how you expressed those powdery indigo blues. They are so perfectly mixed and so subtle. I love the highlights on the rock and water but I must not dissect it too much! Enough to say that the essence of this painting is indescribably beautiful. L/F
