Hello again R/W Bob! In response to this new painting , first I have to jump right in without thought and say I have instantly fallen in love with the brilliant blues and oranges and exhilarating feeling of Samos which speaks to my heart in an instant. Then I wanted to find out more and was fascinated to read that you almost painted this beauty over but instead made a few tiny changes! Oh I'm SO glad not only that you DID that, but that you shared your process! I so often remove my paintings from here ( get fed up with them) and then add them again with a few more details after closely observing them in a new way. It's so often those surprising tiny details that sink or swim a work! Delightfully those details often only take a few minutes to change! I'm so entranced by this new and beautiful painting of yours. The boats, the colors, the light. All awesome! L/F
