Description

I have iris in my backyard, yellow, purple and some other colors, but I saw this one popping up over the fence at a neighbors house. I just worked quickly with a limited palette allowing wet into wet brushstrokes to stay the way they hit the canvas, reinforcing the lines of the composition with the largest strokes. This was painted in about an hour.
