Description
Not far from the beach, on a windy little road that runs through oak trees, the Avila Barn is a fun place to visit any time of year but especially at harvest time. They have fresh local produce, salsas, sauces, pies, ice cream, an area for kids to see and pet farm animals, all kinds of fun stuff. I have never seen such a pile of pumpkins of every shape and size in my life. If you are ever in the area in Central Cali along the coast, this is a must see. In this painting, I accented the colors and textures and used a variety of diagonals, horizontals, and verticals.
